Vitaquell Sesame Oil is characterized by a pleasant mild-nutty flavor and its light yellow color. It is cold-pressed from unroasted sesame seeds. It has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids.
Due to its high content of sesamol and sesamolin, it is particularly durable. Sesame oil is characterized by a balanced ratio of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Lovers of Asian cuisine appreciate the nutty, mild fragrance and taste of our virgin sesame oil.
Ingredient: pure sesame oil (DE-ÖKO-013, non-EU agriculture).
Usage:
Sesame oil is preferred in Asian and Oriental cuisine, but it is also excellent for cooking, steaming, salads and desserts. It is very heat resistant and therefore ideal for frying and wok dishes.
Our tip: Strongly spiced tofu tossed in sesame seeds and baked in sesame oil.
Notes on storage and consumption:
When stored in a cool place, cloudiness may occur due to accompanying fat, which does not represent a quality defect. Protect from light and heat. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume soon.
