Coconut oil organic cold pressed
in 2 kg bucket, virgin - with full coconut flavor
Vitaquell virgin organic coconut oil is gently cold pressed from the pure white coconut meat. Afterwards, there is no refining, i.e. no bleaching or deodorization. This preserves the delicious, exotic taste and smell of fresh coconuts. Of course, the organic coconut oil is not hydrogenated.
The oil contains mainly saturated fatty acids, esp. lauric acid: 100 g = 95 g saturated fatty acids (of which 49 % lauric acid), 4.2 g monounsaturated fatty acids, 0.8 g polyunsaturated fatty acids. Therefore, at temperatures below 25 °C, coconut oil is solid, snow-white and forms white beads. It becomes liquid when heated slightly or above 26 °C and acquires a slightly misty color.
Ingredients: Coconut oil* *from controlled organic cultivation (DE-ÖKO-013, non-EU agriculture).
Usage:
Vitaquell virgin coconut oil is ideal for exotic cuisine as well as for regional specialties. It is very heat stable and therefore ideal for frying, baking and deep-frying. It can also be used as an aromatic spread.
Coconut oil is solid at temperatures up to 25 °C and becomes liquid when slightly heated.
